MARKETING COMMUNICATION FOR PROFESSIONAL INVESTORS ONLY

Launched in January 2018, Pictet–Global Sustainable Credit is one of the pioneers in sustainable credit investing. The fund is Article 9 SFDR – Impact and accordingly has a 100% sustainable investment as its main objective. The fund aims to achieve a positive environmental and social impact, subject to good corporate governance, by investing in companies supporting the energy transition, circular economy, energy efficiency, water quality and supply, healthcare and social integration, as well as investing in the ESG labelled bonds of sustainable issuers.

Crucially, Pictet–Global Sustainable Credit aims to achieve its sustainable objectives while still outperforming its non-ESG benchmark, the Global Agg Corporate.

Please join us for valuable insights into our fund and explore the vast potential of sustainable investment strategies in today's evolving financial landscape.

We are pioneers in sustainable credit with a five-year track record, supported by leading experts in credit research and ESG. Our global sustainable credit portfolio is high conviction, focused on companies with a strong positive impact on the environment and/or society.

The specific project we have decided to support with our carbon offsetting is around improving health and sanitation with access to clean water.

 Three reasons for optimism

01

Emerging market central banks have been ahead of the inflationary curve, acting considerably more aggressively than G7 central banks.

02

Yield is back: For the first time since 2002 yields on EM sovereign debt are around 10% and 80% of emerging market yields are higher than those in the US*.

03

The US dollar has strengthened considerably against all currencies, but unlike previous risk-off periods, EM currencies have held up relatively well versus developed markets.

Luca Paolini, Chief Strategist, will present Pictet Asset Management’s five-year market outlook and asset class return projections.
