Dr Joeri Rogelj is Director of Research at the Grantham Institute and Reader in Climate Science & Policy at the Centre for Environmental Policy at Imperial College London. He explores how societies can transform towards more sustainable futures. His interdisciplinary research connects Earth system sciences to the study of societal change and policy.
Over the past decade, Joeri Rogelj has contributed to major scientific climate change assessments informing international climate policy. He is a long-serving lead author on the annual Emissions Gap Reports by the United Nations Environment Programme (UNEP). He contributed to the Fifth Assessment Report of the Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change (IPCC), served as a Coordinating Lead Author on mitigation pathways for the IPCC Special Report on 1.5°C of Global Warming, and as a Lead Author for the IPCC’s Sixth Assessment. He continues to follow the negotiations under the UNFCCC and was in 2019 the youngest member serving on the UN Secretary-General's Climate Science Advisory Group.
Joeri Rogelj holds a PhD in climate science from ETH Zurich, Switzerland, and an MSc in Engineering and a postgraduate degree in Cultures and Development Studies, both from KU Leuven, Belgium.

She helps manage a variety of funds with the team across all risk spectrums and helps drive the ESG effort for the team. Â Ella has managed a variety Fixed Income portfolios including hedge funds, absolute return and benchmarked global and regional strategies over the past 18 years with an expertise in macro risk taking.
Ella joined Pictet from Wellington Management where she was a Managing Director and Fixed Income Portfolio Manager for over 7 years focusing on absolute return strategies on their Global Bonds team. Â Prior to that she was at Invesco Asset Management, where she worked more than 8 years as a Senior Portfolio Manager in the Global Bonds Team, managing several global and regional portfolios.
Ella holds a MSc in International Finance from the University of Westminster and a BA Hons degree in Business Finance from Oxford Brookes University In addition, she is a Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) charterholder.
